Gori 2-Blade Propeller for Shaft Drive

Gori 2-blade propeller for shaft drive.

Standard delivery time: Approximately 7 to 10 days * For shaft drive, taper and threading processing to match the shaft is required. * The minimum clearance between the hull and the propeller should be about 10% of the diameter. * Returns or exchanges due to size differences cannot be accommodated. * For engines not listed, please use the measurement site. If you have concerns about the size, please be sure to check the appropriate size on the propeller measurement site below. ■ For sailing yachts, underwater resistance, which greatly affects speed, must be minimized as much as possible. The Gori folding propeller significantly reduces underwater resistance to about 1/10 compared to fixed propellers. ■ The Gori folding propeller automatically adjusts to the optimal blade angle based on centrifugal force and the conditions of fluid dynamics, weather, and sea conditions, providing full power output in both forward and reverse. ■ It is compatible with all engines worldwide, ranging from 5 horsepower to 120 horsepower. ■ It is the world's first propeller to adopt geared blades, maintaining a stable blade angle and reducing the burden on the engine.

Shaft drive Gori 3-blade propeller (untreated taper)

This is a shaft drive Gori 3-blade propeller (untreated taper).

The drag resistance in a closed state is very low, providing an advantage during sailing, and minimizing entanglements with "seaweed" and ropes. During sailing: The blades are automatically closed while sailing. To keep the blades in a closed position, the shift lever should be placed in reverse to lock the shaft. When moving forward: By placing the shift lever in the forward position, the blades will automatically open to the forward position. To switch from "overdrive" to normal forward, the shift lever should be set to neutral, reducing the boat's speed to about 1 knot, allowing the blades to close before shifting back to forward. When moving in reverse: The blade position in reverse is 180 degrees from the forward position, and since it uses the same edge shape, it is very efficient even in reverse. Forward overdrive: The overdrive function is achieved by first moving the boat in reverse and then shifting the lever to forward while keeping the propeller in reverse. This allows for a more powerful forward thrust while maintaining the blade state of reverse.
